I scratched my head at all the trades down last April but honestly I think it worked out pretty well for them overall. Turning #31 into 61, 79, 101 and 167 (if my math is right...) and then allowing them to move back up for Henderson worked out. Rapp was a top 40 prospect taken at 61 and is starting and playing well as a rookie. If I had a do-over on this draft, though, it would have been taking Winovich at #70. My favorite player in that draft. Would have been a great complement this year with Fowler and Matthews and helped set them up to be OK when Fowler walks. I like Henderson but the far better value there would have been Chase Winovich...
Also, for the OL, having spent 5 3rd-6th round picks on OL isn't nothing. And because those are mid- to late-round picks certainly not all have or will work out. I do think Noteboom and Edwards start in 2020. Evans and Allen TBD. Maybe a bright side to the OL getting derailed this year is the chance to see Evans and get a sense for what he may or may not be.
