But I do know this. The Rams will surely devote attention and resources to the OL for ‘20. They’ve certainly learned their lesson about the importance of a good OL when trying to execute this McVay O. Actually, re-learned their lesson would be more accurate. Lol.

For myself? I’m cautiously optimistic about Boom and Edwards as LOT candidates. Probably Boom at LOT and Edwards at LG would be the better fit.

If Hav doesn’t finish well I could see Edwards at RT.

But that would still leave our interior OL starters up in the air. Kinda scary unless someone steps up in these last 8 games.

IOW, it seems only prudent to be concerned about our OL situation, both now and for the future. The good news is that these coaches turned a terrible ‘16 OL into a terrific OL in ‘17 in just one offseason. So, we’ve seen what they can quickly accomplish when needed.

Even apart from the discussion of bringing Whit back for one more year, I've been thinking for several weeks now that they would alot some money, possibly in the $5M - $8M range, for a vet olinemen to help stabilize all of the youth they have.

We'll see what they do.
