McVay and Phillips.
It's funny how the Rams' front office back in the 90s couldn't find their posterior with either hand, then all of a sudden when they hire Vermiel they were making good decisions and drafting well. Soon as Vermiel retires it's back to a clown car operation.
Those two haven't batted a thousand, granted. But they for the most part made shrewd signings in FA and have drafted well. Don't underestimate the impact of the staff in its interaction with Snead's group. And I think Snead's strength is that he adjusts the metrics his own staff is prioritizing based on what the coaching staff wants. Which was also a weakness under Fisher.
But why not chill a bit on the negativity Max. Let's see how this season goes and how the chips all fall before we assume it's all gonna go wrong.
