You can say Kupp is just another guy. Last year folks made comparisons between who was better him or Reynolds and look how foolish that turned out to be.
Doesn't matter if you say he is a Slot WR, a Tight End, Left guard, long snapper, whatever.
Kupp is a great football player, may be the 2nd best player on the team other than Donald. He offers great intangible value on top of being a great football player to boot.
He is the straw that stirs the drink and the engine that makes the team go.
I get that they can't pay everybody as it is a hard cap, but Kupp's value is off the charts so they should try to make it work. Really isn't receiver in the NFL like him other than a younger version of Larry Fitzgerald, but I take Kupp over this older version of Fitzgerald even.
Wes Welker was categorized a slot wr and he is a border line Hall of Famer with many 1000 yard seasons with some leading the NFL in receptions I believe.
