I enjoyed the article. Love Kupp. Don't agree on him being a number one as he is lining up against an opponent's third best CB. Cooks and Woods get the two starting CBS and it forces a D to play nickel against us. If you try to cover Kupp with a LB or safety he's going to beat him. He also usually has his way with the third CB. So since he's beating his man he gets targeted. If Cooks left tomorrow that changes everything. The best CB covers Woods. The second CB covers Kupp and now Reynolds comes in and gets the third CB. Now Reynolds gets targeted more as he should be able to beat that third CB is LB or safety. The other big targets are Everett and Gurley. Because we have 5 guys who are tough to cover Goff just needs to find the open man. Right now, that guy is usually Kupp and he makes the most of it. Love the kid. Think he's one of the best slot WRs in the game. But, he isn't untouchable.
That is simply not true.... the Rams move all of our WR's around and slot corners are usually one of the teams better corners, they have to be.... team are now doubling Kupp on plays because he's been so good lately.
