it just wasn’t meant to be
the previous 2pt conversion was a mess. Doesn't mean they won't score the next time but I agree it doesn't make people confident knowing that.
the 4th down play that just seemed so rushed and was int (the one after he missed Cooks). Why was there an interception? Because Blythe missed his block and it was 4th down so Jared either had to take a sack or throw it in the direction of the receiver immediately, which he did and that led to the INT. That's on the OL and Blythe in my opinion.
and the fumble there down 48-40 and they play was completely blown up. OK, why the fumble? Again because of the immediate penetration by the defense and poor play of the OL.
yesterday is what it is but there is no way you can tell me with the way the Rams either refuse or can’t run the ball, Goff obviously struggling, and an oline that clearly is not where the Rams has hoped that this team isn’t in trouble
Plenty of teams get in trouble and to face adversity. Heck the Rams did last year
I agree Goff can do better and I was disappointed that he missed the open throws. But I'm not going to say it was mainly his fault for the loss. To me this game is on the defense and the OLine. Plus, as you said, we need to get that running game going from the start.
