not laughing at all max. i'm glad you re-watched and posted this.
i started typing a response to your post last night but having started drowning my sorrows immediately following the game, my finely honed and word crafted response turned into a random scattering of run on sentences with a side order of word salad. so i hit the cancel button and went to bed to cry myself to sleep.
but you covered almost all of my thoughts in this post.
the one thing i'd like to add, and it's not based just on this game, is that it looks to me that goff demonstrates a key characteristic that bodes well for him becoming a 4th quarter comeback master. not sure if it's tenacity or lack of short term memory, devoid of emotion or inability to read a score board but he has it.
down 21-0, what does that have to do with anything?
intercept me 3 times, how does that factor into the equation?
answer every one of my answers? good for you.
i missed 2 open receivers that probably would've gone for touchdowns if i didn't over throw them, my bad, i'll fix that.
behind by 8 with a two and a half minutes to go and only one time out left? i got this.
goff just kept coming like a terminator. 68 times.
i honestly believed goff was going to pull it off and tie the game in regulation on that last drive before he was strip sacked. he's done that to me before and failed. but good word he provides me hope late in those kinds of games.
btw, that shaq barrett guy is not bad....
