Whitworth is not as good as last year. So not an upgrade. I certainly understand they are not going to replace him and he is an outstanding player/leader. At his age, he is not the same players as 2-3 years ago.
Noteboom is a great find and the future LT. I believe he will be very good. He is young an inexperienced.
At this time he is a downgrade from Saffold who had been a probowler. I get they moved on from RS as they had cap limitations.
Allen. Again fine young player who will be good, IMO.
Blythe was a weak link on line. Not upgraded. Even worse with Demby. So that position is yet another downgrade as compared to last year.
Havs. Same.
So I agree young players will take time to develop, but at this time, the oline is not as good as last year and that is why we are seeing Goff being pressured and hit and Gurley struggling and Offense somewhat out of sync. Just my opinion.
