And I have no issues with the contract. I think worse contracts have been given out to less proven QBs (Garaps and Cousins come to mind). He just seems...idk...off right now. he needs to trust himself and let the ball go. I need more KC Goff and less NE SB Goff. Thats all.Trust your arm talent and trust the coaching you have received.
Honestly, by week 8, we'll look back at this and think what a dumb take.
I think if you watch some of his throws, he is extremely careful with the ball and I'm sure that is coached into him by McVay of how important turnovers are.
That's why people see him throw to no one sometimes and I think it is purposely done.... besides the Bears game, you rarely see him have multiple INT games.
I still think the o-line is trying to get right now and that he's not yet as comfortable as he used to be.... I think by week 5 we will be there as a unit
