As you well know, you cannot average 1 game. And since you obviously read my post, you know I also said that maybe you shouldn't even count the first game, and that I also said its too early (2 weeks into the season) to get too far into any of this with stats. So I think we agree on all of this.
My main point is that right now, as I type, I do not trust Goff. And you are going to hate my reasoning. Its a gut feeling. Its not scientific, there are no stats to back it up. I just feel, in my gut, that he isn't trustworthy. What does that even mean? He just seems lightyears from that monday night vs KC Goff right now. I just wouldn't trust him to deliver in a big spot in a big game right now. Yesterday should have been a big game, but the lack of Brees kinda killed that vibe imo. So like I said, its early and there is plenty of time to change my gut feeling.
Just curious, how do you explain the trust McVay and Snead have in him?
My point is, is that if those guys believe in him enough to give a record deal, I think us fans should be completely comfortable with that. They know much more than us simpleton
