Seems to me most good RZ teams, the OC's, run plays in the RZ that are smooth transitions from all the rest of the plays... with obvious adaptions due to the more limited amount of turf area in the
RZ... in other words... it's basically the same game plan squeezed into a smaller area.
With McVay I get the feeling, well, more than just a feeling, it's night and day once the RZ is reached... completely different plays unrelated to all the rest. A Jekyll and Hyde transformation.
I was going to post something similar but couldn't find the language. I totally agree. No stats or facts to back it up, it's just a feeling but the playcalls in the RZ look completely different.
