The bottom line is Goff needs to keep improving. Take more command of this offense. The article could have said that and could have said that they would have preferred the Rams wait another year based on poor performances in high profile games the last two years.
Instead the article goes completely overboard and is not readable beyond the first couple of sentences.
Goff got paid what QBs that throw for 4,600 yards and 32tds get paid. When you lead a team to the SB in year 3 of being an NFL QB you get paid. That’s how it works. If the Rams didn’t pay him somebody else would have.
Can he improve? You betcha. He has a number of areas he needs to get better and he would say that himself.
