True. 2021+ was always going to get trickier. As VB said, the simple (yet not easy) answer is draft well, develop, be disciplined about letting guys leave, accrue comp. picks, etc.
To me the next two to extend are Johnson and Kupp. They are foundational pieces that I don't think will break the bank. They might also extend Higbee, who knows. My guess is Peters is not a Ram in 2020 and Fowler is 50/50 at best.
