Snead listens to McVay's ideas on how to improve the roster. They both sit and talk it over. Both weigh the pros and cons on such transactions. Then, if it's a fit, they decide to make a move.
There's no reason to think anything else other than, 2 heads are better than 1.........The GM working with the HC to improve the roster and keep the salary cap always in focus for the future.
