From what I've seen Snead got a lot more flak when he was working with Fisher than he has since McVay came on board. Whether the type of player McVay wants simply work out more often than a 'Fisher player' or Snead has just gotten better at what he does the Rams' drafts have been among the best in the league the last few years. It also seems that posters who look at the data with an open mind have come around even if they weren't in Snead's camp 3 years ago.
I agree that issues with him were definitely more a thing in the past. But I feel like I have seen some posts within this last year that have said that Snead is just along for the ride with McVay. To me that means he’s not very valuable.
I don’t know how widespread that opinion is and maybe as you say even those who felt that have come around. I’m just curious if every body is excited about Snead’s extension too.
