How can we say Kiser "will do" something, when he has done nothing.
I can understand "hope"...but to say he will do certain things is complete speculation. That's my point.
My prayer comment is done with a bit of tongue and cheek. However, this is a tough board and crowd to do such a thing.
I'm not saying Kiser won't contribute. But no one can say with certainty what he will do this year. My guess is Philips got help elsewhere (Clay Mathews) that made him feel more comfortable with having Kiser as a solution. Plus, we drafted a safety and have safeties who can drop down in the box.
I lived through "In Fisher we trust"..."In Spagnuolo we trust." Well, while I "trust" Philips, Kiser isn't going to magically turn into this machine...in my humblest of opinions.
And...while we waited till day 3 to draft LBs, we did draft LBs.
My hope is Kiser is serviceable.
