Well---my own view---the OL was snake-bit back then. But that wasn't just the Fisher years. It goes back to Linehan. It was just sheer dumb bad luck, no matter which coach it was. QBs too, and that also goes back. From 2007 through 2016, they started 14 different qbs. Out of the 160 games from 2007-16, they fielded a starting-caliber veteran qb in 84 of them.
It wasn't JUST injuries though of course. The drafting was bad till 2012, the GMs were bad till 2012.
