I signed on a long time ago to say that Gruden is going to be a colossal flop. His 10 years away from coaching and his determination to do it his way and coach the same way he used to looks to me like a formula for failure. Trading away Mack was utterly insane. Trading away Cooper wasn't much better.
Not sure about Mayock. But it's a lot easier to evaluate and pick when your job doesn't depend on it.
As for Jeremiah; same reservation as for Mayock.
Does working for a TV network suddenly dull ones ability to evaluate talent?
