I feel bad for all the coaches/players who put so much time into it, just to see it fold without even completing one full season.

I guess what I don't get is why the NFL didn't support it more. Sure some of the games were televised on the NFL network. Though many times I had trouble finding out when the games were on. I think NFL could have promoted it more. And it would have been a relatively cheap investment for them to have a developmental-type league in the Spring/Summer.

And even without the NFL support, I am surprised it folded so soon. The players weren't getting paid much. Doubtful the coaches and front office types were getting paid a lot too. And they had TV contracts (as meager as they may have been).

And finally...gee, where will I see Johnny Manziel play now? Am so disappointed. tongue sticking out smiley
