Being 30 and having some injury issues lately could work in our favor here. Those are warts I’m willing to live with. Kind of like Talib last year. The idea is to get elite short term production at a crucial position.
If it weren’t for those two issues, he wouldn’t be available at all. And it’s because of those issues and the high salary that I think he could be had for a 4th at most.
Given his age, he obviously wouldn’t be a long term solution but hopefully they start investing premium picks into the position while we’re getting great production for at least 2 and maybe 3 years.
