Steve says trade Reynolds for a 3 or 4. I said I was thinking the opposite trade Kupp for a 2 or edge rusher

Maybe you should preface it by saying "I wouldn't do it, but they could get more for Kupp"

But saying I would trade Kupp instead and then trying to justify it sounds exactly like that's what you would try to do

If I could get a #2 or a proven edge rusher for Kupp I would definitely consider it

Again Kupp is the 3rd WR in this offense and he’s a mismatch there but if I could add a proven edge rusher or get one with a 2 in exchange for Kupp ... well heck yeah I’m going to consider it.
