The drop off of Reynolds to Kupp was significant and the double teams came on Cooks and Woods because of it.
He was gifted many catches and the announcers questioned why the Rams didn't go more to him when replays showed he wasn't being covered with these combo coverages of double teams on Cooks and Woods and zone on the rest.
Do I think the Rams could do worse with a #4 receiver. Yes. He is good for the position he plays, but if Kupp does not come back healthy, you will not see the same Rams offense next season as these last 2 seasons. That much is sure.
Kupp is the Rams best WR and the straw that stirs the drink..
