That’s something you are coming up with
Okay fair enough on the one play theme. But that's not all I said Speed. I also alluded to this.

Bill Polian:. I estimated the Pats line was winning at the snap of the ball about 70% of the time, which is amazing.
In terms of people not reading, do you know how many times I;'ve brought that up, and said no qb plays well under those conditions, and the response was "Goff did too play poorly." Which kind of leaves me drop-jawed. How can you say "no qb plays well under those conditions" and then have someone think you DIDN'T say the qb played poorly? (??!!)
Honestly, to me, any assessment of any of this that does not include the fact that the Rams offense was under heavy pressure, is just not football realistic. And I don't mean pays lip service to it...it has to be directly accounted for. Therefore to me any focus on Goff in his own right, of any kind, that does not mention pressure coming to THAT extent is just not a good football analysis.
Now that I mentioned it keep an eye open for it cause it's there. People who try to discuss the qb in isolation without accounting for the fact that the game included THAT MUCH pressure. I mean I have respect for posters as individuals, but as arguments go, neglecting THAT MUCH pressure as a factor is way too selective for me. It's just not anything real to me.
And again if someone thinks they can name any qbs who look good under THAT MUCH pressure, feel free to try.
And yes I like Orlovsky on that play better than the other account we're getting here. Why wouldn't I. It's Orlovsky. No individual here matches him in terms of breaking down a play. So it's always important to know that there are other accounts of things. It's part of why someone comes to a board like this.
