There is no doubt that Ari and SF are lousy teams. But the fact remains that CJ performed better against those teams than other RBs who had the same opportunity.
It doesn't mean that CJ is going to the HOF, but the fact remains that of the 14 RBs who had an opportunity to run against those lousy teams over the last 4 weeks of the season, CJ had the best results. Personally I don't see how that fact can be completely discounted ... unless, of course, the data runs contrary to one's original premise.
The guy did a great job even when the level of his competition is taken into account. And maybe it was just a fluke, but he's a former 1,000 yard runner with a Super Bowl ring and a career 4.5 avg (which is just a tick higher that Gurley's 4.4avg). He's at worst another weapon that Dallas has to prepare for, and it's way more likely that he'll be part of the solution rather than part of the problem on Saturday.
And if we end up agreeing to disagree on this topic I'm OK with that.
