I think there were better strategies available based on what they did.

They could have run on second and third downs guaranteeing at a minimum that they had no time outs. After first down, they needed what...5 yards? That's not impossible...it's not like 2nd and 8 and trying to run for a first down.

They could have throw a ball past the first down marker...all you need to do is catch it to have the first down.

I said I didn't have an issue passing...the issue for me was the types of passing plays called. They were like run options to me.

And, since his strategy didn't work, it pretty convenient to call it into question.

And...arm chair quarterbacking has been in existence since football showed up on TV...so this is what happens.
