McVay is driving home in L.A. traffic.........He's thinking on how he can improve the team.....He calls Les and they both work it out.
I bet McVay has a lot to do with ideas, then he bounces those ideas off Snead. There is no doubt in my mind at all that McVay knows the GM Job and the $$$$ aspects of the Cap.
The thing that makes it all special is that McVay and Snead work together at it. They like the new ideas and new challenges. The vision to keep winning and never go in Salary Cap Hell.
I don't think McVay would come up with any ideas for improving the team without talking to his coaches and getting serious input.
So he listens to Kromer, he doesn't tell Kromer how it's going to go. Same with Phillips.
