and just because it relates to year 1, doesn't mean there can't be a valid concern.
I know there is bias but there are also people who have questions. They think McVay "nursed" him..."he hasn't done it long enough". Oops sorry, that one only applies to Garappolo.
There are also people out there who doubt the Rams will win the division. I disagree but they have their reasons like too many "bad characters" in the locker room. Are they wrong? I think so. But to attributing differences in thinking as only bias no matter whether it relates to year 1 or not is a kind of a bias...don't you think?
Mere doubters exist for many things but to be a SERIOUS doubter in the face of conflicting evidence is where they lack credibility. That's where the bias is.
Maybe McVay did nurse him. Maybe he hasn't done it long enough. Maybe there are legit questions and valid concerns. Being a mere doubter is one thing.
But to be a serious doubter after seeing the gargantuan improvement and the top 10 QB statistics one would have to be stuck in their blindness.
It wouldn't be akin to those who doubt the Rams will win the division; it will be akin to those who say the Rams will come in last place in their division. Blind idiots is my opinion of them.
I'm not attributing differences in thinking as only bias; I'm attributing ignoring the conflicting evidence in year 2 as being based in bias.
