harsh is a bit overstated. I've supported Goff from day 1 and would like to see improvement.
As for doing the items on the list, I'm afraid I completely disagree.
Hopefully, he grows this year and is able to do those things.
One of the biggest...throwing receivers open. He tends to check down unless the WR is open cleanly. He doesn't place the ball where only the receiver can get it and allows him to create some room. And, if he, I mean ZN, you honestly think he runs the two minute drill well? I blame McVay for part of it but he just doesn't. I remember after many games last year there was a number of people saying so...so it's not just me.
That is where I think Wentz has it on Goff now.
Yeah he's done all of them except #6. He demonstrated he has the requisite talent. He just needs to be more consistent but he has already shown he is capable of that stuff.
And yes you are harsh. I didn't say you didn't support him. I said your judgments are harsh. According to you, it's because you listen to all these no-Rams watching non-Rams fans. Who don't know.
As for checking down...enh. For one thing the offense is coached to be safe so I don't know why you put that on the qb. Either way his qb rating in the medium to deep medium ranges is in the 90s, and that's not a player who CAN'T throw it in those ranges.
