As a physical talent Goff isn't Rodgers, as you point out. But then neither is Wentz, Rivers, Roethlisberger, Stafford, of Wilson. Among others.
But Goff's better than the mid-tier stuff you only hear if you're surrounded by NFL fans who have not watched him as much as we have. I know what that's like, I live in Patz territory. No one here watches the Rams. They don't know enough to judge.
That's the same kind of people who took nearly the entire 99 season to catch on that Warner was actually good.
They don't watch the Rams. They know less than we do. And not all of us can be dismissed as "homers."
Give him a better chance. You surrounded by people who actually don;t get it. Not that they see better.
