Those are two other X factors. I think Barron will be gone after this year. And I still believe it is 50-50 at best Whitworth returns in 2019. So cap (savings) implications there too. Though also creating possible holes. But in the case of Barron I think Kiser grows into that job. And ideally Noteboom is the LT of the future which would be a huge help cap wise.
Just to add on.
Assuming NB can play left tackle and can replace AW...he would be temporary help in terms of the cap but unless the cap goes down because of the new CBA, it's not a big deal.
Noteboom would have to be extended during the 2021 season cause he's a FA after that.
But I don't know that they need help. They have the room in 2021 to take on contracts by Goff, Donald, Cooks, Gurley, and Peters, with probably room for 2-3 more big contracts and I would of course include NB in that (though he probably would not be paid on an extension until 2022).
It would be nice if he were cap help in 2019-2021 but it isn't even really necessary.
