What you can't do is this:
Arnold, "I think Vanilla ice cream is best"
zn, "the point is Flipper Anderson had a great game, so you're wrong".
"The question to me" cannot be framed as a rebuttal to what the question is to another.
One is an opinion (Arnold). The other is a non sequitor.
So I submit that I am not responding to a mere opinion with a non-sequitor.
And this is not a debate about opinions. We literally disagree about what the issue is. That's a debate about how the facts are framed.
And yes I get to say I disagree with how you're doing that.
Which is exactly what you're saying to me. So apparently we do get to do that.
The question then becomes, when you just leave you and me out of it, which is the better argument?
Really, honestly, have the Rams framed this as being about whether the team should ever start starters in the pre-season?
Or is it rather framed as this---given the unique circumstances of game 2, do we make an exception in this case?
