You're out to lunch buddy or being purposely ignorant in an attempt to defend a losing battle. My source is not my source. It's the opinion of an individual repped by the agency.

You post this statement. And it's simply not correct.

According to Fox's Doug Gottlieb, who is also represented by CAA, the offset is completely irrelevant and has never been a sticking point in any contract outside of head coaches.

It says off-sets have never been an issue with players, and they have. I provided details on that. See my other post, titled "more on this." And it's more than just Bosa and it's more than just the agency in question.

Please go back to the common denominator. Bosa is a CAA representative. DG is lumping all of them in a bag.
The point that he has made is that CAA is using their players as pathfinders.

And there's a better explanation. And I don' t buy the "pathfinders" theory.

I talk about it here: [ramsrule.com]

I also keep adding info on this that makes it abundantly clear that the 2 rookie holdouts this year are reacting to the teams in question being weird. Just like the Chargers with Bosa. Here's some of it:

If this is truly the case then why are they not writing this in for the players that it truly can apply to? Players that have a real chance of getting cut?

You are taking the bait. They are using the players to set a precedent. They are trying.g to find something to fight in a cba that doesn't allow them to fight. They ARE pathfinding and grandstanding. They ARE not operating on the best interests of their clients.

Do you think that Darnold cares about this or do you think he'd rather be in camp competing to play against some very tough QB competition?

With every high end client CAA has attempted to set a precedent. That is pathfinding. I'm all for pathfinding in business but there has to be a benefit for the client. The only one benefiting here is the agency and maybe the players union because this will add more chips in the next cba negotiation.
