I think I've done my share of research. If you want to compile a list of players that demanded trades purely for contract disputes, go for it.

Actually, that is the opposite of what my examples showed.

I did some research on star players who demanded trades and couldn't find one example of when a team sat on that demand and refused to trade them. I was researching any type of trade demand - contract disputes and all other disputes.

So at this point, I think we can state a general rule: trade demands by star players are accommodated.

And here's you list of examples again that included trade demands (includes the two I added):

Jay Culter - Not a contract dispute

So we have 8 trade demands, 8 traded players. 5 of the 8 were contract disputes. Thus, it's factually true that 'most of those on the list you compiled were contract disputes that resulted in separation.' Looking at the list of 8, where did I lie?
