If the Rams don't want to make a fair offer in the range of Donald's market value and try to force the issue by tagging him, Donald's best option is to demand a trade to a team that WILL pay him. It's as simple as that.Since we actually know nothing, both your statement and my hypothetical re-write of it are equally fictional at this point.

You keep making up your own market for what you think AD is worth, but the highest paid Defensive lineman is $17m per year. So what is the market??? Are we going to make up a new position for AD and set the Market at $25M per and just bend over and pay it??? It usually doesn't work like that, no matter how amazing you think the player is.
Sorry if you think AD should be set upon a pedestal and paid like a QB, but that is not the market, ESPECIALLY considering he is NOT a UFA.

They had discussion on Sirius last month with people who have forgoting more football then this entire board knows about football and all agreed that AD is getting bad advise. Already posted about all the reasons.
Highly doubt it ever even gets close to this though and a deal gets done before the first preseason game.
