Is this really AD asking this, or is it his agents? If as players say they just play and leave the money to the agents then you saying anything about AD agreeing/or not to a deal could not happen....IMO AD like all players rely on an outside faction to keep them safe from the big bad owners.....If it was as you said I would think that you would hear from AD..."Well I am not happy with what they are offering up"...instead you get..."I just want to play and the money is not my thing, I leave that up to my agent"...That in itself is just ridiculous....who says that when you are in the echelon of a millionaire status? IMO this is just about a Sports Agency sucking on to a player(s) and making a name for themselves....but the player is deemed the bad cat, or the team is looked at in that way....IMO it's the agents doing the dirty work and being an invisible entity, not or rarely considered the actual issue.
This was my point in my previous post.....IMO it's not the player who is dealing with the team it's the agent. Add to that that the agent is being looked at by other players.....an agent is made by what he get's for his player, but at the same time if a player has any smarts at all he should be in control of his finances......Just because a guy plays a sport should not make him out to be a financial dunce.....or then again maybe with the education going on there may be a good reason for this need to have someone "look out for your best interests"...
Look what Suh did.....he left money on the table from other teams...I bet his agent was not happy about that, but it seems as Suh has control over his life choices more than others do. AD IMO could do the same.....but again to each his own....
