Thank you. Both sides get a 3 month window after the third year to either renegotiate, exercise a fifth year option or just play out the fourth year of the deal. The Rams chose to exercise the fifth year option. There's a lot to this, the man needs to get paid, and the team needs to be smart, honestly I think both sides are playing this pretty well. My wife is a Raider's fan, and you are hearing almost the exact same talk out of Reggie McKenzie and the fans over there. Hopefully it gets done before it gets to the franchise tag, that isn't a pleasant scenario for either side.
