this addresses my question. What if there IS a sizable gap between Jaire and Sweat. I just used 10 spots arbitrarily, but lets say the Rams think Jaire is one of the top cbs and had a #20 overall ranking on him, and a #50 on Sweat. I am just wondering if the Rams would stay true to their Board if it is not really a position of need. Though we look flush at CB, Peters could certainly blow up or decide he wants an extension or whatever next year and Talib might show signs of age. Rams may decide Joyner is not worth the $ and all of a sudden our Secondary depth is thin again. A teams needs change all the time, from one year to the next as contracts are often broken, renegotiated, etc.... I feel it always behooves the Rams to take the ....dare i say it...best player available
