I don't have a good feel for how many of our start we will be able to keep.
Elite Talents: Peter, Suh, Donald, Gurley. Whitworth. These guys rank with anyone in the league at their positions. Whitworth will not be resigned long term. It is assumed Suh will go but if Donald won't sign we might sign Suh and trade Donald. Additionally we are going to need to find a LT after next year and that will not be cheap.
Critical to Future Success: Goff, Cooks, Joyner, Brockers
Critical players under control for a few more years: Kupp, Johnson, Goff
Key starters that we can control 2 more years probably Haverstien, Brown
It seems like we might be able to manage through things and sign most of the Elite and critical talents. Gurley with 5 years will have to have the tread on his tires checked. If we sign Suh and can get a great return for Donald we might need to consider that. Perhaps Whitworth signs for an additional year but I have my fingers crossed that he makes it through the next 2 years.
