Really depends on what keeping the core means. For example I would say...
Beyond 2020- Goff, Donald, Cooks, Kupp, Joyner
Through 2019- Gurley, Peters, Brockers, Woods, Johnson, either Havenstein or Brown
I don't think Suh is here past this season, personally.
I think it's near impossible to project further.
Even in 2021, will the Rams want to re-sign Kupp and Johnson? I'd hope so (which would mean they played very well the next 3 years). But that's not a given. Do the Rams want Donald here in 2021? Probably, but that also could potentially be his last year (turns 31 the next year, etc.). Cooks? They can extend him now but possibly cut ties in 2021. Gurley? I want him here through 2019 for sure. Maybe 2020 under a franchise tag. Do I want to give a RB headed into his 7th season a huge contract? Sorry, no...
Really, beyond 2021 Goff is the one you want to start with, assuming he solidifies himself as a top 5-10 QB. He'll only be 27 in 2021. (Most of) the rest will come and go.
