But, I'm here to say he touches the guy with the ball such a significant part of the time, that he in essence is touching the ball a lot...not QB a lot...but more than a receiver, more than a RB (yes...that is what I'm saying) and definitely more than other defensive players.

So...when we say he doesn't touch the ball...if he touches the guy with the ball significantly, can that view be used to pay a guy like someone who touches the ball all the time.

A QB's effectiveness must be considered but if a QB only throws 55-60% of the time, is handing the ball off such a big deal in the scheme of "touching the ball"? I know that the threat of an excellent passer helps in the run game but I'm trying to thread the needle here a bit.

So, while I'm not saying Donald touches the ball like a QB, at this stage of his career, he has an impact on almost every play...because he is involved where the ball is...whether it be in the QBs hands or a RBs hands.
