The bar continuously moves...what was done years ago...or even a year ago, does not really reflect on players today, especially at a different position. It does set a bar...but it's a low bar.

Rodgers seems like a bargain today but he wasn't when the contract was signed. Assuming Donald continues to play at a high level, I think his contract will seem like a bargain a couple years down the road.
