Please explain...
Re managing a combustible player or two... yeah I think they believe they can handle it because Wade handled it in Denver
We will see if they are right but this is not Scott Linenahan we are talking about. Coaches have to be able to handle all different kinds of personalities. They have a track record.
I personally would have been reluctant to do it but its clear they believe otherwise and there is history to support it

that they would team peters with talib but i think you are correct in that their teammates seem to like them. for instance, talib was voted team captain last year.
I didn't think pairing them was a good idea and posted that yesterday.
It's why I said maybe the Rams don't see it that way. I'm trying to see it from their perspective.
I think we've got to trust that the Rams are not going to put a bunch of people in that locker room that they feel are going to destroy or take over the team.
These are the same people identified that the culture needed to change last year and were successful in implementing that change.
They know about culture, they talked about culture, they value culture. That was one of the major themes last year.
They didn't suddenly forget that culture is important.
So I'm trusting that they are smart enough not to be tearing down the very thing they built last year.
They lucked into a good team because Whitworth was available.
That does not make them league-leading "culture" experts.
We have NO idea if this team can handle a renegade CB duo at their worst.
That actually reamains to be seen.
....
Luck is happens when preparation meets opportunity
So we "luck out" on Whitworth and he alone is the reason the culture changed???
Sorry, that's a stretch....McVay is the reason for the culture change.
Going after guys like Whit and Woods was purposefull.....allowed him to build a culture of winning.....Which allowed him to let Wade take a shot on players like Peters and Talib to take this team from winning the NFC West to winning the NFC.
Slogans happen when cliches meet mantras.
Fact is this (and I like facts far better than slogans) if there were not LOT available in free agency---and there usually isn't---then, they would have had to draft one.
And it is getting chancier drafting linemen these days. It's not the safe bet it used to be.
Add this. The vast sizeable majority of decent starting LOTs are first and 2nd rounders.
Tell me this. If they lose Whitworth this year, will that improve their chances? Weaken their chances? Or will it be a negligible loss?
So here there are, they need a left OT, good ones rarely hit the market, and there was one on the market.
Yes that's luck.
Luck happens when luck happens.
Or maybe you can tell me at length what they would have done without Whitworth on the market that would have had the same result.
Either that or try another slogan.
As for "culture change" I take that phrase to be a bunch of voodoo bs that doesn't mean anything real. In terms of having Talib and Peters on the same team, we'll see if they handle it. Because that DOES remain to be seen. It's not a given. If they handle it fine I will gladly say so though I won't be using the overused "no one can say what it means" word "culture" to describe it.
