On this one, however, we have different takes.
Agree that Joyner is the biggie. But I think he might get more than the Rams offer Watkins. Joyner might get $11 million.
No tag for Watkins if I’m in charge. A 1 or 2 year prove it contract could work nicely, though. Plus incentives. If Watkins insists on a 5 year contract, then I draw the line at $10 million per. I’m convinced that we will win either with or without Watkins. He is not a “core” player such as AD, Brockers, Tree, MP, and Joyner. Very nice to have, especially if one values “potential”, but still only one of 5 receivers on any given play.
We agree on NRC. He had a great year and should be very affordable
Lots of other FA decisions, but these are the big three, Joyner being most critical.
