The players will strike during the pre-season. The owners will set a deadline for reaching and agreement, and when that deadline is not met, the owners will postpone the start of the season for a week or two and then proceed with replacement players. This will last for several weeks and finally a new contract will be signed. There will be no winners. The losers will be the fans and the TV stations as ratings for the games will plummet.
