Great post Rock and I agree completely.
Society has, in general over the years, gotten so tribal. Me vs. You. Us vs. Them. It seems no one wants to work together to try to find common ground anymore and it's all so acrimonious all the time.
Anyway, off the soapbox. If this is Smith's way of setting the tone of negotiations, three years in advance, then I fully expect a long and painful strike/lock out that may potentially forever damage the NFL. I'm just going to enjoy the next three seasons and hope that our Rams win a Super Bowl or two before then.
