Gurley is a huge weapon in this offense, not just as a runner. As a matter of fact, I would argue that if he was used more in the Atlanta game we would have been playing the next week. He is a complete player. You don't trade guys like that who are young, healthy and inexpensive.
Your argument could be said about #1 WRs as well. How many have come and gone over the years that never won a Super Bowl, let alone even made the playoffs?
The bottom line is, you need a pretty complete team with great coaching to make it to the promised land. I don't think you trade away one of your cornerstones.
