The first clip... we have seen that one this season before... i have no idea why he doesn't go get that thing

But the truth is Goff often just didn’t look for Watkins. However many times when he did Watkins gave the kind of effort we saw in that first clip if not worse. The Rams need a score.... go get that damn ball!!!! Other times he just looked like he was lost
Maybe its a chemistry thing between them but IMO anyone who is not biased can see that they both (Goff/Watkins) are to blame.
