i dont disagree on goff flashing, but we are probably in the minority on that. goff was left for dead by many so called experts.
everett is from south alabama who didnt even have a football program until 2009. its the epitome of a small school program. Do you really think a guy coming out of this program is going to come in and light the nfl on fire? and yes, despite is horrendous game on sunday, everett did flash at times during the season, particularly early imo. im not saying hes a sure fire future pro bowler, but i would like to see what mcvay can do with him with at least 1 off season before you dump a second rounder. not to mention i would like to see what hemingway can do under mcvay as well.

Gurley was rookie of the year and in year 2 everyone knew the OL was horrendous.
Goff, IMHO, truly flashed in year 1. I never gave up on him and felt he could do the job if he had help. Did he makes errors...yes. But he was getting killed. The OL was horrendous...and Jeff Fisher was horrendous.
Explain to me how Everett fits in any of that. He had an innovative coach, a solid OL and a running game to help.
Nope...disagree on that completely. Maybe Case Keenum is a better example.
