I don't see this team going outside for a new TE in 2018. Instead I think it becomes McVay's main project in the 2018 OTAs and camp to further develop Everett and Higbee. They said all along they wanted that Jordan Reed-type TE and that's why Everett was selected. He flashed in preseason and in several games this year. Clearly needs more work. But among rookie TEs this year he was 5th in targets (32), 6th in receptions (16) and 5th in yards (244). I think the focus will be on having him emerge as the starting TE. His development is the Rams biggest opportunity to improve on what they did on offense this season.
