I understand quite well what playing for nothing means. The Rams have been doing that for quite some time.
Niners more talented than the Browns or Giants? Stats say otherwise until JG started playing. They were sitting at 1-10 and many believed there was a chance for them to have the number one pick.
Again, you spin their / his success as a result of "playing for nothing". You said -
Yes, Jimmy G is playing well and the Niners seem much improved and have won 4 in a row.
But......they are playing for nothing. There is no pressure on them or him.My statement refuted the fact that you are insinuating that the success the Niners and JG are having are a result of them having no pressure, no chance to make the POs, etc. And...if that's the case, why aren't other teams finding that same result, such as the Browns, Giants, Bucs, etc?
So was your earlier statement, the one above, one to explain JG's and the Niners' success? Or was it to reinforce what everyone already knows, which is they are out of the PO hunt?
